According to tradition the name of this shape may derive from the word “node”. Legend tells that a poor woman, was crying close to a tree, asking desperately for help, because she has nothing to cook for her husband. He offered her his nodes to cook. She accepted and was surprised to see that the pieces of wood turned into soft dumplings. We wanted to update the shape, making it smaller, slightly rounded and cuter. A nice legend for a mythic Twirl shape.
